BuckFifty ("we", "us") provides a receipt price-drop alert app. You photograph a Costco receipt, review and approve the items read from it, and we watch those items for price drops during Costco's 30-day price-adjustment window and alert you so you can claim the difference at the membership desk.
BuckFifty Pro costs $1.49/month, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can cancel anytime in your app-store subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by the app stores' policies.
Price drops depend on published savings data and warehouse prices, which vary by location. An alert tells you a drop has been published for an item you bought; whether an adjustment is granted, and for how much, is decided by Costco under its own policy. You are responsible for claiming within the 30-day window.
If you turn on SMS alerts in the app's notification settings and enter your mobile number, you consent to receive transactional text messages from BuckFifty about price drops on items you bought. Messages are sent only when a price drop is detected for your items — typically a few per month at most. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. You can also turn SMS alerts off in the app's notification settings. Your phone number is used only for these alerts and is never sold or shared for marketing.
You review and approve receipt lines before they are saved. You keep your account and device secure. You do not misuse the service or submit receipts that are not yours.
BuckFifty is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Costco or any warehouse retailer.
You can delete your account and associated data from inside the app or by emailing us; deletion completes within 30 days, including backups.
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here and, where practical, in the app before they take effect.
